United Nations Security Council Resolution 446 (1979)
A resolution adopted by the United Nations Security Council on 22 March 1979, by a vote of 12 For, 0 Against, 3 Abstaining (United States, Britain and Norway). The resolution denounced Israel's settlement activity in territories occupied during the 1967 Six Day War, being contrary to the Fourth Geneva Convention, called on Israel to refrain from such activity, and established a three-member commission to investigate the issue.
